Winter time reflection for garden design

Winter is a time for reflection for all aspects of our lives. And there is no better time than to start thinking about what you want from a garden re-design.

This is a great time to look properly at the space you have and take the time to reimagine what is could be. It’s time to grab a cup of tea or hot chocolate and just look outside and begin to imagine what your garden could look like with proper planning and design.

What do you want from your outdoor living space? Is it more socialising space? Is it more space for creative planting? Is it a private area for solitude and reading?

If you have a list of requirements and can describe how you would like to use your garden, then it’s our designers’ job to turn those thoughts into a beautiful and flowing garden design.

New case study live

Our new rooftop garden case study is live on the website!

This is a really stunning and unusual garden design, as it’s a roof terrace for a business, in Atherton near Wigan.

Their brief was to create a number of private areas, for meetings or quiet working, as well as the ability to host social gatherings. So overall we needed to consider a flexible design for multiple uses.

Due to the rooftop location, we also had to consider shaded areas and also the weight of planters and hard-landscaping. We designed in a variety of specimen trees for year-round interest, beautiful low-maintenance perennial plants and plenty of bulbs for both spring and summer.

Overall, the client was really happy with the end result and we think it’s a stunning space!
