We were really honoured to be asked to speak at the Landscape Show which takes place in London on Wednesday, September 18 and Thursday, September 19. This is one of the biggest exhibitions for the garden and landscape design industry, so we are thrilled to be heading down to the big smoke next week.
We will be sitting on a panel on the Wednesday, hosted by the brilliant London College of Garden Design, entitled How to shake up your garden design. Our landscape design and garden design always pushes the boundaries with creativity and innovative new technologies, so we are really excited to be talking on this topic. Alongside both myself and Rob on the panel are garden designer Emily Erlam and LCGD’s Andrew Fisher Tomlin.
We also really enjoy listening to our peers talking about their recent projects and discussing industry topics, so we’ll definitely be sitting in on the other sessions too.
It’s really important for us to take part in these events to share our own experiences and knowledge, but to also get out of the studio in order to gain some inspiration. As a creative designer, it’s really important to put aside time to get away from the computer, away from the studio and away from every day life.
I take a lot of my inspiration away from garden design, and draw in influences from sculpture, art, graphic design and anything else in the world that catches my eye.
So as well as spending time at the Landscape Show, we’ll be visiting art galleries, parks and walking around the streets, soaking it all up.
