Here at Warnes McGarr & Co Ltd, while everyone else is still lazily checking their emails and eating up leftover chocolate, we’ll be frantically finishing our design for RHS Tatton 2017 in time for the mid-January deadline.
With this being our third year of exhibiting at the Cheshire show, we know this year’s design is going to be a big showstopper. After two years of being awarded silver, we’re not ashamed to say we’re going for a gold this year.
Designing a show garden is the perfect opportunity for us to unleash our creativity across design, planting and hard landscaping, but also for us to raise the profile of our newly re-branded business and our strong business ethics. Our core specialism is creating outdoor living and cooking areas that enable to people to enjoy their gardens all year round, as well as ensuring they are wildlife-friendly.
Designing and building a show garden is hard, hard, hard work! Along with months of design, planning, tweaking designs and sourcing the absolute perfect materials and plants, they mean 15 hour days of hard grafting to build the garden to a deadline.
Of course, it’s all worth it when it’s done and we see thousands of people walking around the garden, taking photos and talking about their favourite elements. And the odd interview on the BBC never goes amiss either!
So one of our jobs for the next few months is to shortlist some amazing companies we’d love to work with. We are all about providing the ultimate in quality, both in terms of skill and the actual products we use, so we’re looking for businesses with the same ethics as ours to create long-term relationships with.
If your company wants to work with a couple of perfectionists, who design and build the perfect gardens for socialising, cooking and just pure enjoyment, then do get in touch.
The RHS website has some amazing statistics for potential sponsors too so take a look to find out more about their absolutely amazing shows.
