I have been performing Landscape design in Lancashire for most of my adult life. I qualified in landscape design in Lancashire in 2008 at the University of Central Lancashire. It still astounds me how beautiful this county is. It is such a privilege to live and work as a landscape designer in the county of Lancashire. Hailing from Wigan which is now classed as “Old Lancashire’ and new “Greater Manchester” Our studio for Landscape design in Lancashire sits in Marylebone just outside the beautiful Haigh Hall Country Park.Its a pleasure to able to walk this countryside with my son Jimmy and our trusty Patterdale Louis. Haigh hall although not a heavy weight in terms of garden design in Lancashire is the place I call home. Well not the hall itself, that is now a hotel! but living and working just by the entrance to the park. You could call this my spiritual garden design home, by the sheer amount of time I spend in the place.The garden design for Haigh Hall was laid out in a Flemish style in the late 18th century which has since perished due to commercialisation.Rivnington Gardens are also part of the historic garden design in Lancashire.
