POPPY PEMBLETON

About Poppy
Originally from the Norfolk Broads, Poppy moved from her very small village to central London at 18 to pursue a career in media. She spent several years working across film and TV, both in front of and behind the camera, alongside a role in the events sector for a Japanese cultural organisation.
In her early twenties, Poppy relocated to Liverpool, where she founded and ran a successful board game café with her partner in a popular student area. Although the café no longer exists, around 200 board games still live in her house.
Throughout her twenties, her career has remained rooted in the creative industries, with several years spent working as a graphic designer for a travel and events company and creating her own art prints. During the Covid-19 lockdown, she found time to complete a diploma in biology, reflecting her interest in the natural world.
Now based on the outskirts of Merseyside, Poppy enjoys spending time in her garden, travelling (with 35 countries visited to date), and exploring her interests including baking, interior design and hiking.
